Joan Ovoke Osunde — who built and published much of her work under her maiden name, Joan Urevbu — is a Nigerian education-technology builder and writer. She took the name Osunde following her marriage in 2022; the two names refer to the same person and the same body of work.
She spends her time on the operational layer of education: the parent-messaging pipelines, timetabling and teaching-assignment tools, and school logistics systems that have to be correct every day or not at all. Much of this work is built for low-bandwidth, intermittent-connectivity conditions — the reality of reaching a parent who shares one phone and buys data in small amounts.
